Health-realted fitness is a type of phsical fitness that emphasizes physical activities and exercise that will improve or help you maintain your functional health. The five components of health. The five components of health are cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and body composition. Cardiovascular fitness is the ability to work continuously for extended periods of time. Flexibility is the range of motion that your joints have during movement. Muscular stregth is how much force that your muscles can exert. Muscular Endurance is the ability to use your muscle for long periods of time without getting tired. Body composition is the percentage of fat a person has.
The activity i'm going to show the class is a goalkepper drill called chest-high catch. All a person has to do is your their hands into a W position. Then a person has to wait for the ball and catch the ball. Then put the ball by your chest and the drill is over.
The health component of this activity is muscular endurance becuase a person is using their muscles without getting tired. Moving your feet and hands to get the ball is musclar endurance. Doing this drill helps a person to move more efficiently.
During the summer i will try to do more musclar endurance. I will also want to focus on cardiovascular endurance. To get more musclar endurance i need to lift weights everyday about 20 minutes. For cardiovascular endurance i will need to work on running and also working on drills for soccer for about 40 minutes.
